Wimpy’s Little Buster (2019 AQHA Gelding)

This stunning golden palomino gelding is making his mark in the Extreme Cowboy world. “Canyon” has proven he belongs by winning the 2019 ACEQ and OXC Pro Champion titles and finishing 4th at the EXCA World Championship (International Division). Versatility is his forte, with success in Ranch work and Dressage already under his belt. Canyon’s future is as bright as his coat!

Vixen

Pink Martini Cat (2019 Bay Mare)

This sweet mare has shined on show circuits across Ontario and Quebec, culminating in a 9th-place finish at the World Championships with a talented young rider. With outstanding bloodlines and a 2025 foal on the way, Pink Martini Cat’s future is filled with exciting opportunities.

Our Horses - Bonbon

Pocos Bonnebelle – “Bonbon”

Bonbon is a 2008 registered bay roan Quarter Horse mare with an amazing successful show career locally and provincially in Western Pleasure, Showmanship, Trail class, Extreme Cowboy, Jumper, and Dressage. Bonbon is the go-to old mare of the farm for a trial ride or beginner lesson. Bonbon is currently enjoying some more relaxed time these days as she becomes an amazing broodmare – throwing not only conformationally correct and sound foals, but ones with an ease of trainability as well.

Our Horses - Skor

Skor

Skor is a 2008 mutt pony! We guess she is a Shetland cross. Skor has been an amazing mascot for the farm over the years! Used as a riding pony here and there for the little kids learning, but more likely you’ve seen her in a parade dressed up as a tractor, or a reindeer! She has been instrumental in our parade costumes and fun we have created around our group outings in local parades!

Vixen

Remamba Me (2015 Buckskin Mare)

“Aza” thrives in a structured working program, helping riders master the art of soft, sensitive horse handling. She had an impressive first season in 2024 Extreme Cowboy Racing with Linda and aims to return to the World Championships in the future. Quirky yet talented, Aza prefers light hands and a calm routine to stay focused.

Maybe

MB Maybe Lil Boon – “Maybe”

“Maybe” is a 2013 AQHA red roan mare who has joined the RLH Equestrian team as a show horse and future broodmare. With an excellent foundation in her training, it is sure this sweet minded mare will excel in Extreme Cowboy racing! With the names of “Wimpys Little Step” and “Peptoboonsmal” on her papers, it is evident that she will be a strong force in adding to the future babies here at RLH.

Vixen

Izzy Starlight (2003 Liver Chestnut Stallion)

This stunning stallion, with a flaxen mane and tail, has an exceptional disposition and a pedigree packed with champions like Grays Starlight, Peppy San Badger, Doc Bar, and Poco Lena. Izzy has competed successfully in roping, and his offspring have earned accolades in the PRCA. Due to his age, breeding opportunities are limited, with cooled semen only.

Vixen

Dulcinea GF (2005 Registered Hanoverian Mare)

With elegant natural movement and impeccable bloodlines, including De Niro, Donnerhall, and Dressaman, Dulcinea has produced three beautiful foals. Two fillies by Quidam Blue are excelling in eventing, and her latest filly by Wynton shows great promise in dressage. Now, Dulcinea is preparing for a return to the show ring for adult amateurs to enjoy.

RL Spooks Hot Flash

RL Spooks Hot Flash – “Rosie”

Rosie is a 2016 sorrel mare and a recent acquirement to RLH. Due to her age and life pressures, she will be rested now and focus on raising some great foals, with bloodlines such as Shining Spark, Grays Starlight, Peppy San Badger, Genuine Doc – to name a few on her papers. Rosie will no doubt provide some future winners in the show pens for future clients. With her quirky, easy character – she sure is a pleasure to have in the barn.

Vixen

Pardonnez Moi (2020 Thoroughbred Mare)

Affectionately known as “Pie,” this mare is developing beautifully. Initially aimed at the RRP in Kentucky, she is now thriving in lower-level eventing and Extreme Cowboy Racing, earning ribbons and praise. Bright and forward, she offers enough challenge for advanced riders while remaining safe and reliable for senior riders. Eventing remains her primary focus as she continues to mature.

Freakal Jane

Freckles Jayne (2015 APHA Strawberry Roan Mare)

Nicknamed “Power Pony,” this small but mighty mare excels in every discipline. From finishing 2nd in Super Pro Extreme Cowboy Racing to winning jumper shows and teaching beginner riders, Freckles Jayne is a versatile star. Her heart and determination make her a cornerstone of RLH.

Vixen

Cherry & Edge (2019 AQHA Black Mares)

This adorable hitch team is not only stunning but also versatile. Cherry has begun competing lightly in Extreme Cowboy Racing, while Edge has had success in western events at local fairs. Their calm, reliable temperaments make them invaluable for riders of all levels, especially in lessons.
